The Other Forum
I just realized that the link to the old forum is not on here.
Why is that?
The forum is still there and working just fine. True, I know a new forum was made before the old one was back up and running.
We did have two forum links for awhile so why not do that again.
So who is with me..... who want to see links to both forums

I thought it quit working. When I tried going to it, I would get a message that the board didn't exist or something. Is it back?

Vampi changed the date of her post so it stayed on top while she was away. I didn't want this post to be missed so I changed the date to one day ahead of hers. I will change it back in a couple days.
Anyway it's still around I have it linked to my blog.
It disapeared the night before I left, and I'm not sure how long it was down for. When I checked it in the morning before leaving it was there but said it was under maintainance or something.
Why nobody waited to see what was going on before making a new forum is beyond me. And why it is not linked anymore is weird.

Barris posted that it was back, but nobody responded and we all just accepted that nobody used the old forum... Don't know why. It's still alive and kicking. I've always wanted to use that expression.

I honestly don't know why the old forum still isn't linked, except their seemed to be some bad blood between some of the staff on the old site once. Don't know exactly why, but their was a post on this blog by a few people asking to be removed from the group because they were angry about something. That something I don't want to say because I don't know all the facts.

All I'm going to say is.... DUMB.
Nothing that I seen happened there.
I was having fun reading the Role Playing Game. And what about the Smilie Wars, that would have been fun to see being continued.
I just don't understand.....
I mean the Star Wars side has never had a single problem. And if there was, it was shruged off and things continued like normal. And that blog & forum has been around for well over a year.

A new forum was created because the old forum wasn't reliable. Whether a three year child was able to disable it or there were server problems, both of which were suggested as the reasons for it's disappearance, a new and much more reliable forum was created.
I was also enjoying the role playing game and I think we start it up again. I particularly liked Jon's comments about watching TV in the comfort and safety of home.

They must've used it about as often as I, because I never saw any complaints... Only nasty things I've seen on Heroes United are lee and some of the things Aunt May said. (I.e. sex jokes)

Why is it not reliable? So it was down for a day.
We have problems with blogger itself all the time and nobody leaves or tries to find a better service.
And just to point out that the Star Wars forum uses the same service and has not had a single problem in over a year.

Good for Star Wars, I'm sure they must be very happy.
The new forum is more reliable, because;
One, it is run by the Heroes United administrators and it is going to be run in the appropriate fashion in which they see fit, and how it should have been run on the first forum, but unfortunately was not.
Two, there are several admins so there will always be eyes watching out for inappropriate material that should not be there, or to answer questions about the forum. In the two previous forums the admins would have periods of absence where posts that should not have been there were ignored, or there were questions that could not be answered. And we know that won't happen here.
We will still link to Barriss's forum, and you are still welcome to use it. There was no inexplicit material there, there were simply some technical difficulties that went unanswered for too long.

I wanted to make sure it was read. Vampi's vacation post was dated the 9 so I went one day ahead of hers. But now that is was read I moved it back down.
