I would love to but these things sorta got to be planned months in advance (seeing as I have no family and to my knowledge dont know anyone who lives in San Diego it has to be enuf time for hotel reserv) food, transportation plus a plane from Germany and I didnt know about it so I didnt plan

I went to the one in NYC a couple of months ago. I do some press occasionally for a web site. It was a total geek fest. And I live on the east end of Long Island, by the way. They have offered to send me to San Diego which is great, so it looks like I'll be going. I'd be glad to hook up with anyone else who might be going.

Well, due to the fact I live in Wisconsin and driving there will take forever, (I hate flying) I would have to say no I'm not going.

Plus getting time off work is nearly impossible. Plus my Husband and I have off only one week and we plan on going to Tennesse for our Honeymoon.

But I think it would be cool to see some of you at some point....

Yeah, I went year before last, (last year I was too busy moving to College Station. I still hate it here.) and a friend of mine also went, although I didn't know he did. Later he sent me a card saying he thought I would've liked to have come, and lol, I did! But, the con's not all it's cracked up to be. Not as crowded as you'd think, but still quite crowded. I'm into more stuff this year, so maybe I'll go, but also College Station is WAY farther away than Pheonix was, so probably not.

Pardon my rant.
