Forever Alone

You know what I've realized lately? Not having a life sure is odd. I thought it would be something I'd get used to. Cereal every morning, wearing the same underwear for a month and, of course, weekends at the shooting range. What more could I want?

Well, now I'm aching for some action. Any kind of human interaction would be appreciated, and not just for target practice. For instance, I still haven't had anyone explain the ending of LOST to me. I feel like such a hermit.

You see, my life pretty much fell apart after Sandra left me. I don't know how much of it has to do with her, though. When we were together, most of my joy in life came from the secrets I kept from her. Those secrets, along with a classic case of domestic violence, led to my current single status.

I've always been an independent man in horn-rimmed glasses, though. So, I'm not saying I really need the companionship. After all, I recently re-read To Kill a Mockingbird. Turns out Scout wasn't a pet bird. It's amazing the things I missed the first time around. Perhaps a lot of that may have had to do with it being back in my pre-horn-rimmed days.

I realize now, though, that I am a mockingbird. Metaphorically, of course. I don't mean anyone harm. The people I shoot are like blue jays, which Atticus says we can kill as many as we want. My only goal in life is to protect my loved ones. Unfortunately, like Boo Radley, that often means I'm looked at like a pale creep.

Scout is a lot like my very own Claire Bear. She's a rowdy, strong-minded type who likes to dress up as a ham. And in my effort to protect her, evil rednecks catch the pointy end of my knife.

So, that being said, I think I deserve a little respect. If it's a sin to kill a mockingbird, then wouldn't it be virtuous to kill with one?

Old and New

After a year hiatus, I am back to blogging.

I've spent most of the day hitting "Next Blog" to find new friends, when it suddenly struck me..."Uhm duh! Try looking to see if your old friends from back in the day are still blogging!" And so I came here to have a look.

Looks kind of abandoned and dry...but I know first had that looks can be deceiving. So don't be surprised if you see me popping up in your neighborhood.

Uhm, yeah that's all.

I hope there's people still out there...

When I got into this business, it had a "one of us, one of them" policy. But it's getting harder and harder to find a one of them. Where have you all gone?

I remember the good ol' days when silly super-powered bloggers were posting right and left.

Clearly, you need some incentive. So, hear me out. Being the ingenious paper salesman that I am, I got to thinking, "Hey, isn't the Web just paper that's invisible?" and, "Don't people need invisible paper too?" then, "Especially if that invisible paper has entertaining stuff to read!" and a while later, "Would the entertaining stuff be written in invisible ink?"

After all my pondering about this so-called Internet, I came up with a plan to end all plans. What is the one thing that makes people do stuff?

Other than pointing a gun at them.

Other than pointing two guns at them.

Paying them!

Yes, everyone, it seems, is motivated by a little greenback. So, let's try that. If you're interested in making some money with the online stories of your gallant adventures, then let me know. We'll give it a shot, and I'm not talking about silly Google Adwords where you make $100 every seven years. I'm talking about a real monthly stipend to write.

"Do I have to be a spammer?" you're asking.

I'll answer, "Of course not!" Now, sure, if you want you can go around constantly shouting, "Oh, my God! I have bad credit, yet still can get a loan for my small business!" However, if that's what you want to do, who am I to stand in your way?

My method, though, is far more subtle. It's far more entertaining and comes with an overall less prostitution feel to it. Plus, it's a group effort. If we all join in on the blogging fun, we can be more beneficial to potential sponsors and reap greater rewards.

If you don't like it, I can always just go back to bag and tagging you.

Okay its not far away and suddenly I remembered that last year I forgot all about FCBD.

I was shattered that I forgot that it was coming and resolved that this year I would not forget. So for this years FCBD I've gone to the official website to view what is on offer and mention what I'm gonna be ordering from my local comic store.

~Readers note Captain Koma's "local" comic store is about half an hour from him by car at approximately 100 km/h. Yes thats pretty far away. The next closest store is over 100kms away. Country life may make it easier to breathe but it doesn't make comics easier to read.~

It usually forgets me -sniff- so I always have to mention my own blog here.

Well lets take a trip through the HU and see where we end up.

Well well welll look who's brains gotten too big for his container.

Yes thats right Dr Nemonock has his own blog. Its a bit of a chick flick of a blog and if you hate romance this might not be your cup of tea. Well to be true it is creepy romance between a brain and a homicidal Sinead O'Connor acolyte. Which always warms the heart of this genius. So go check out cause it seems the doctors in and his prescription is bloody love.

Now Batman and his villains is still running forward with all the pace of Lost. Man is this story line going to take a while. I reckon It'll still be going when I've finished the Oddessy and am onto my duel with Nemonock. Also for some reason The Scarlett Spider is in this.

Ok as said before Nemonock won Who wants to be a Super Villain and thats great but why not check out his rival in the final Tak for some fun. He may have lost and got the small fry certificate but that doesn't mean he's not the same fun loving Imperial Stromtrooper we all know and love.
Oh and he's still pining for a certain Lt Cmndr.

Dress Me Up For My Life!

Recently I went through some... personal difficulties. As a result, I have a brand spankin' new body, and no idea of how I should dress it or even style its hair! So I started a contest to find the best new look for me. Everybody is welcome to enter! No art skills and hardly any computer skills are necessary! The winner gets a lovely watercolor/ink drawing by me, portraying myself in the winning ensemble. I've already had three entries, depicting me as a kind-of "human fortress", a steampunk aviator replete with ginormous handlebar mustache, and a suave, bare-chested warrior with a medallion that would make the Phantom Stranger himself moist with envy. Big –coming out of retirement-news!

Greetings all.

I was going to wait until after Labor Day to post this announcement, but the news is just too big!

Yup. The rumors are true. After a little over a year in hiatus, Jawa Juice is coming back to the blog-o-sphere. I wasn’t sure if I was going to do it, but after a while, the little voices in my head kept pestering me….”come on out and play…” JJ is just in my blood, I guess and there are still stories to be told.

So I decided to bring him out of retirement.

But…he’s not the only one coming out of retirement. In fact, J.J. may be returning but he won’t be returning to his old site. Instead a new site has been created where not one…not two…but three old, once retired bloggers will be returning.

You heard me right! Along with myself, Rebecca who voices the whimsical, free-form force ghost, Qui-Gon will be coming along for the ride. (Ya can’t have J.J. without Qui-Gon, now can ya?)

But that’s not all…

In addition to us, one other name will be coming back to the fold, if only from time to time…

Bill Johnson…aka Master Yoda!!!

You heard me right. The three of us will be sharing a blog and writing satirical Star Wars stories featuring our spoofed characters we’ve breathed life into during the hay days of SW blogging.

But don’t look for us to write just as our usual characters. The three of us decided we wanted to return but didn’t want the pressures of writing all the time or stuck as our well known characters. Thus this community blog. With three of us periodically writing in it, there is a lesser need for any one of us to carry the load. And with a myriad of characters to write as, hopefully we won’t get burnt out too quickly.

(We almost roped in a fourth old timer but it looks like he’s decided to return by himself.

Its been a YEAR... or two?

That's right my friends, this is the 300th post for our blog!

As unlikely as it might seem, we made it to the big 3-0-0. Some of our family have come and gone and some have even come back again. These last couple of years have been a lot of fun and I am really glad to have been a part of it.

We have shared our idea, our likes and dislikes, are hopes and the big events in our lives, here and on the HU forum. We've shared our humor and our drama and we have had some really awesome cross-over adventures. Most important though, we have become friends.

I have truly enjoyed getting to know you and our spending time together. I am confident that the next 300 posts are going to be just as fun and interesting.

To commemorate this impressive milestone for our group, I plan to add links to this post of everyone's favorite moments from their own blogs. But Joe Fixit versus Juggernaut is something that's good for everyone. Especially me since Juggs is now out of the picture.

I've been thinking about this for a while. We've been talking about it for a while. We're not doing it, though.

This blog is not getting a lot of action lately, so I plan to post links to new posts on it. I don't think that I'll do it daily, I think posting on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday would work, though.

Everyone can participate, of course. I want a little help, though. On the HU Forum, I just created this topic where new posts can be announced. Well... I and my husband Fire has been playing WOW for 2 years (since it started)
we about the 3rd day met online a Nightelf hunter name Jamie
we have been playing with her online since... (so nearly 2 years)
